How to be a stay at home mom!!!

Let's face it once we have children it is built into us women by God to stay home with these little miracles that we have been blessed with. I know we live in a day and age where both parents work because they have too. At least that is what I hear when I talk to other moms. I am here to say that if you want to be a stay at home mom you can, and I will tell you how.........

First of all, for this to happen the very utmost thing you have to do is put your desire before the Lord. The Lord hears our prayers and wants to give us the desires of our hearts. So we start there. Pray, Pray, Pray.

The next thing is to really take a look at your self and your life and see what sacrifices you can make. I know a lot of people have debt, like mortgages and new cars they have multiple credit cards and student loans. So you will have to take a good hard look at how you can downsize your debt so that you can live on one income. I am being serious if you really want to stay home with your babies you may have to sell the house and downsize or sell your car and buy a used one. Its all in how much you want this dream to be a reality. I am not saying sell it all and have nothing, I am just trying to show you how much people think they need all this new stuff and really they don't. Stuff does not make you happy Jesus makes you happy!!! Once you get your finances in order sit down with your spouse and make a budget!!! Yes, I said that ugly word!!! BUDGET!!!!! You can not live on one income without it. Trust me I know from experience. You need to look at what your spouse brings home each month and then deduct all the bills and utilities and groceries from that, every penny should go somewhere whether it be savings or car repair, etc. Once your budget is in order and you have seen what you can live on then take action! If you feel you can't make it on just one income then look for online jobs trust me in this modern-day techie world you can find something online to do from home to make some extra money. Just how bad do you want to stay home? That is the question. Its all about living within your means, cooking from scratch, being frugal and resourceful. You're not staying home to be rich..... You're staying home to raise your children so that no one else has too. Do I sacrifice things to stay at home with my children? In my eyes I don't see it as sacrifice I see it as God's plan for my life. He blessed me with these babies and it's my responsibility to raise then in a Godly way. By doing so your children will love and respect you for it, I know I do. I am so blessed that my mom stayed home with my brother and I and then homeschooled us also, I respect and love her for showing me what it really means to be a stay at home mom! So take a leap of Faith to ask God for direction and believe that you will receive your blessing of being a stay at home mom. I hope this encourages you to look at your life and how you can make your dream a reality, where there's a will there is a way! Until next time God Bless!

P.S.
We live on one income and have for some time now and our family has never been without. Is money tight yes it is! But I have learned how to be content with what I have and praise God for meeting our needs. God has blessed us and still blesses us every day and for that, I am so grateful.

Hello everyone!

Today I just wanted to give a short little explanation about my curriculum books that I have created for my children. First of all, I created them specifically for my daughter that learns differently from the norm. She is a right-brained thinker and a very artistic and critical thinker. My daughter did not like the standard read and answer questions as most curriculum books are laid out this way. So I had to get creative. I realized she learned best when she was able to choose a subject that interested her, and the information stuck in her head! I was so thrilled! So I scoured the internet trying to find a curriculum that would do just what she needed. I did not find anything that I liked so I decided to create my own. And so A Christian Delight Directed Curriculum was born!!! Both of my girls use …

Stand Still And Let God Move!

Do you ever feel like you pray and pray and nothing happens? Maybe you you try to take situations into your own hands and it just causes more stress to your life?

Well that's how I feel. Lately I have been praying for multiple things and in my impatient heart nothing is happening. But the Lord reminded me that he is an on time God. He has a perfect plan for my life if I will just sit back and stand still and let him move. So I am, and it's funny how things begin to happen or fall into place when you least expect it. I am so thankful that the Lord speaks to my heart. Just the other day my husband had some good news and then something irritating happened and the Lord showed me how the devil likes to seek and destroy. You see in our happy moment something came up that was just simply irritating and the devil tried to still our joy. I am thankful that the Lord gave me the insight to see this and rebuke the devil!
With Thanksgiving upon us I am reminded of all the blessings the L…

The Contented Homemaker

Hello Everyone,

Lets chat for a bit. For as long as I can remember I have longed to be a homemaker. Sure there are a lot of girls who wish to grow up and have a huge career and make lots of money etc. But for me I have always wanted to be a wife and mother. Sound boring? Well I will tell you that the life of a wife and mother is far from boring and it is the highest calling that God has for a women. I have always longed to be like Caroline Ingalls and to live in a tiny house somewhere on the prairie. She was content where ever she was as long as she had God and her family. I want to raise my children as she did firm but loving. I want to honor and respect my husband for all that he is and does and to Glorify God in all that I do. Am I perfect? NO, I fall short in so many ways. The wonderful thing is that God molds me and makes me into what he wants me to be daily. We live in a day and age where so many women are not content and satisfied with life. Maybe its because as homemakers and…
