Merry Christmas!


As the Christmas season is upon us, and we are all bustling about. Let's not forget the real reason for the season. Sure it is fun to get your tree all up and decorated or browse through the store looking for the perfect gifts for your loved ones. But Christmas is not about the tree,  decorations or gifts. It is about so much more.  JESUS is the reason for the season! As a Christian myself it is hard not to get all wrapped up in buying gifts for my children and trying to make sure they have a wonderful Christmas. I have to remind myself why we celebrate this holiday. I have to tell my children who like to go tell Santa what they want for Christmas that even though its fun to get gifts we also need to give and share the love of Jesus with others. That Christmas is a state of mind and heart and that loving others is what Jesus wants us to, not just at Christmas time but every day! So as you decorate, shop and look for the perfect gifts remember that God sent his perfect gift to us...... Jesus and that perfect gift died on the cross for all our sins and all we have to do is, ask Jesus into our hearts, ask for forgiveness of our sins, turn away from our sins and confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and we will be saved!!!
