Lets Be Joyful!
Merry Christmas Everyone!
I can't believe it's that time of year again. And boy what a year, right? It's been a while since I have posted anything and I wish I could say for good reasons...but I have been sick with a head cold. NO, it's not covid. I am so sick of Covid I could vomit! You can't even get sick anymore with the standard flu or head cold every one thinks you have covid. Funny fact I called my doctor and they told me that anyone with inflammation will test positive for covid. hhhhmmmm? That's weird plus they told me they really don't have drugs to treat covid they just treat your symptoms. I don't know about you, Disclaimer: I am not a doctor and do not use any of the information here as medical advice but people do some research, please. Anyways done with that little rant! We have been busy doing school and shopping online because I can't go into any stores unless I wear a mask or face shield which I will not do because of exemptions so... Amazon has become my friend for Christmas shopping. I must say that it is nice not to have to worry about the crowds of people and it all comes right to my door. We took the day before Thanksgiving to get our Christmas tree which was a lot of fun.
We ran into some snow but that did not stop us.
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving and feel very blessed with what the Lord has given us. In a time when things seem so bleak, we have Jesus to lift us up. I don't know about you but when I stop and think about it I have a lot of things to be thankful for. And now we are nearing Christmas. I love Christmas and everything about it. It is wonderful to put up a tree and lights on the house, bake cookies with the family, watch Christmas movies, and just be in the moment. I am blessed to know that Jesus was born and he is the reason I live every day. Without him I am nothing and life would seem so desolate especially during this time with this pandemic. But my hope is not in a vaccine or drug or the government it is in CHRIST ALONE! I hope you take some time to look back on the year and ask yourself...Did you have a happy year or a year full of fear? As Christians, we have nothing to fear for GOD is in control. We are not stressed but blessed. So let's spread the Christmas Joy to those around us, speak truth and light into a world of darkness. Pray for our loved ones and our country.
Merry Christmas and God Bless!
