Stand Still And Let God Move!
Do you ever feel like you pray and pray and nothing happens? Maybe you you try to take situations into your own hands and it just causes more stress to your life?
Well that's how I feel. Lately I have been praying for multiple things and in my impatient heart nothing is happening. But the Lord reminded me that he is an on time God. He has a perfect plan for my life if I will just sit back and stand still and let him move. So I am, and it's funny how things begin to happen or fall into place when you least expect it. I am so thankful that the Lord speaks to my heart. Just the other day my husband had some good news and then something irritating happened and the Lord showed me how the devil likes to seek and destroy. You see in our happy moment something came up that was just simply irritating and the devil tried to still our joy. I am thankful that the Lord gave me the insight to see this and rebuke the devil!
With Thanksgiving upon us I am reminded of all the blessings the Lord has given me and my family and I am so very grateful. When my heart wanders and I become dissatisfied with things I step back and count my blessings one by one. We are all human and have wanting spirits that is natural, but instead of focusing on the wants lets focus on the blessings we have.
