Stand Still And Let God Move!

Do you ever feel like you pray and pray and nothing happens? Maybe you you try to take situations into your own hands and it just causes more stress to your life?

Well that's how I feel. Lately I have been praying for multiple things and in my impatient heart nothing is happening. But the Lord reminded me that he is an on time God. He has a perfect plan for my life if I will just sit back and stand still and let him move. So I am, and it's funny how things begin to happen or fall into place when you least expect it. I am so thankful that the Lord speaks to my heart. Just the other day my husband had some good news and then something irritating happened and the Lord showed me how the devil likes to seek and destroy. You see in our happy moment something came up that was just simply irritating and the devil tried to still our joy. I am thankful that the Lord gave me the insight to see this and rebuke the devil!

With Thanksgiving upon us I am reminded of all the blessings the Lord has given me and my family and I am so very grateful. When my heart wanders and I become dissatisfied with things I step back and count my blessings one by one. We are all human and have wanting spirits that is natural, but instead of focusing on the wants lets focus on the blessings we have.

I hope that you and your family have a very Blessed Thanksgiving and remember to STAND STILL AND LET GOD MOVE!!!

GOD BLESS!

Hello everyone!

Today I just wanted to give a short little explanation about my curriculum books that I have created for my children. First of all, I created them specifically for my daughter that learns differently from the norm. She is a right-brained thinker and a very artistic and critical thinker. My daughter did not like the standard read and answer questions as most curriculum books are laid out this way. So I had to get creative. I realized she learned best when she was able to choose a subject that interested her, and the information stuck in her head! I was so thrilled! So I scoured the internet trying to find a curriculum that would do just what she needed. I did not find anything that I liked so I decided to create my own. And so A Christian Delight Directed Curriculum was born!!! Both of my girls use …

How To Budget (Envelope System)

Good Morning Everyone!

It is a wonderful morning and I am up and at em!!!! I already did my workout for the day and I am feeling good. Today we are going to focus on how to start a budget that you can stick to. I know for most people this is very hard but I promise if you can get a budget and stick to it you will conquer your finances. Budgeting is the number one way that has allowed me to stay at home with my kids and live on one income. I am strict and budget every dollar my husband brings in. Two years ago my husband was able to take a lower-paying job with less stress making half of what he was making because we budgeted and were frugal. Now that he has a better paying job which we are so blessed that he has, we understand that we can make it on very little and still have a happy healthy lifestyle all because of budgeting. So let's get to it!

First of all, when starting a budget you need to calculate your monthly expenses. I'm talking mortgage, rent, utilities, clothing, …

Do I Dare Talk About This??

Do I dare talk about this????

Well, lets get real and talk about when your child is strong willed and discipline, I know this is a touchy subject but thought I would share my view of it. Speaking from experience I know what its like to lose your mind as a parent when your child is defiant and just refuses to obey. My middle daughter was quiet a character as a toddler and young child, but as a preteen she is growing into a very lovely young lady. She has tried my patience many times and there were times I felt as though I just disciplined her all day long. She was a very stubborn toddler and child but because I am a christian I believe what the word of God says. I would rather give a quick swift spank and be done with the correction then to drag it out by forcing her to sit in time out all day long.

''Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.''
