A New Endeavor!

Hello My Friends!

Well Summer is here in Idaho and we finally hit 100 degree weather. Which means lots of swimming and air conditioning. We have had a lot going on, so I will fill you in a bit. We finally have a fence up around our whole property which was a huge accomplishment. Our garden that I started is finally taking off, the ducks and chickens that we have are doing great and to top it off we have purchased a cow. Yep, that's right we are officially a small homestead! We are going to raise our own grass fed beef and see how that goes.  In  between all this we have managed to make a family camp trip and our whole family will be having a reunion this year!! So much stuff going on, not sure how I am keeping up on everything but only by the grace of God.  I do have some exciting news I have entered into the world of self publishing books. Yes, you heard that right! I have been creating workbooks for my children and they are available on Amazon. I decided to make a curriculum that would work for my children especially my creative delight directed learner. I also have created a christian planner for young men that is for my son, to help him stay focused and organized. All of my workbooks are simple and to the point ,there is an addition, subtraction and multiplication one plus a spelling book. I am in the process right now of creating a 180 day guided delight directed full year curriculum book for my daughter and I am excited about it and I hope that it will bless others also. God Bless and Happy Homeschooling!

Hello everyone!

Today I just wanted to give a short little explanation about my curriculum books that I have created for my children. First of all, I created them specifically for my daughter that learns differently from the norm. She is a right-brained thinker and a very artistic and critical thinker. My daughter did not like the standard read and answer questions as most curriculum books are laid out this way. So I had to get creative. I realized she learned best when she was able to choose a subject that interested her, and the information stuck in her head! I was so thrilled! So I scoured the internet trying to find a curriculum that would do just what she needed. I did not find anything that I liked so I decided to create my own. And so A Christian Delight Directed Curriculum was born!!! Both of my girls use …

Stand Still And Let God Move!

Do you ever feel like you pray and pray and nothing happens? Maybe you you try to take situations into your own hands and it just causes more stress to your life?

Well that's how I feel. Lately I have been praying for multiple things and in my impatient heart nothing is happening. But the Lord reminded me that he is an on time God. He has a perfect plan for my life if I will just sit back and stand still and let him move. So I am, and it's funny how things begin to happen or fall into place when you least expect it. I am so thankful that the Lord speaks to my heart. Just the other day my husband had some good news and then something irritating happened and the Lord showed me how the devil likes to seek and destroy. You see in our happy moment something came up that was just simply irritating and the devil tried to still our joy. I am thankful that the Lord gave me the insight to see this and rebuke the devil!
With Thanksgiving upon us I am reminded of all the blessings the L…

The Contented Homemaker

Hello Everyone,

Lets chat for a bit. For as long as I can remember I have longed to be a homemaker. Sure there are a lot of girls who wish to grow up and have a huge career and make lots of money etc. But for me I have always wanted to be a wife and mother. Sound boring? Well I will tell you that the life of a wife and mother is far from boring and it is the highest calling that God has for a women. I have always longed to be like Caroline Ingalls and to live in a tiny house somewhere on the prairie. She was content where ever she was as long as she had God and her family. I want to raise my children as she did firm but loving. I want to honor and respect my husband for all that he is and does and to Glorify God in all that I do. Am I perfect? NO, I fall short in so many ways. The wonderful thing is that God molds me and makes me into what he wants me to be daily. We live in a day and age where so many women are not content and satisfied with life. Maybe its because as homemakers and…
